چکیده
Introduction: Diabetes mellitus type 2 (T2D) is the most common of diabetes. There an ongoing debate as to whether nutrient quality or quantity mainly responsible for effects on hyperglycaemic control patients with T2D. Monounsaturated fatty acid (MUFA) has a metabolic effect in reducing risk factor syndrome prevent and hyperglycaemia T2D recommended by professional organizations.
Methods: Literature searching was conducted advanced Pubmed, Cochrane Library, Scopus, ProQuest database using MeSH Terms combined Title/Abstract. After removing duplicates, literature were screened based eligibility criteria. Critical appraisal level evidence selected determined Oxford Centre Evidence-Based Medicine.
Results: Two relevant answer our clinical question, both are systematic review/meta-analysis studies. The first study Fumiaki et al. (2016), while second Frank Qian (2016). All provided that diet high MUFA could improve glucose-insulin homeostasis among These marked lower fasting blood glucose haemoglobin A1c (HbA1c), insulin enriched group compared PUFA.
Conclusion: Nutrient glycaemic profile T2D, consistent favourable HbA1c.

Whether low-fat, high-carbohydrate (CHO) diets or moderately high-fat, high-monounsaturated fatty acid (MUFA) diets are preferable for the treatment and prevention of diabetes has been a matter of debate. High-fat diets based on MUFA-rich oils or whole foods have been compared with high-CHO diets for effects on several cardiovascular risk outcomes in diabetic subjects. Early studies using metab...
